Sauces –
Me Soo Yum Hot Honey Chilli Stir Fry Sauce,
Me Soo Yum Bhut Jolokia Chilli Oil Infused with Honey
Ingredients:
For Air-Fried Potatoes:
- 3 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fries/fingers
- 2 tbsp oil (cold pressed oil)
- 3 tbsp cornflour/cornstarch
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For Sauce:
- Me Soo Yum Hot Honey Chilli Stir Fry Sauce– 3 tbsp
- Me Soo Yum Bhut Jolokia Chilli Oil infused with Honey– 2 tbsp
- 1 tbsp cold pressed oil
- 2 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
- 1 inch ginger, diced
- Corn flour- 1 tbsp
- Water – ½ cup
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 red chillies, cut finely ( Optional)
- ½ cup of sliced onion
- ½ cup of sliced capsicum
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
Directions:
Step 1:
Prep Potatoes:
- Peel and cut potatoes into fries/fingers.
- Rinse in cold water to remove starch and dry thoroughly.
- Toss with oil, cornflour, salt, and pepper to coat evenly.
Step 2:
Air Fry:
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C for 10mins.
- Place potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer (don’t crowd).
- Air fry for 15–18mins, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
Step 3:
Prepare Sauce and vegetables:
- In a saucepan, heat oil and add ginger, garlic, capsicum and onion, sauté it for a minute,
- Add Me Soo Yum Hot Honey Chilli Stir Fry Sauce, Me Soo Yum Bhut Jolokia Chilli Oil Infused with Honey, vinegar, soy sauce and add corn flour slurry (corn flour mixed with half cup water).
- Add Red Chilli as required
- Cook for 1-2 mins until bubbly and slightly syrupy.
- Adjust salt and pepper
Step 4:
Combine:
- Toss the air fried potatoes with the sauce until well coated.
- Cook together for 1 minute so the sauce sticks.
Step 5:
Serve:
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and roasted sesame seeds
- Serve hot for the best crispiness.
